Clearwater Credit Union Named Missoula’s Best Credit Union for 26th Consecutive Year

Missoula, MT – Clearwater Credit Union has once again been recognized by the Missoula community in the annual Best of Missoula awards, earning first place for Best Credit Union.

The 2026 recognition marks the 26th consecutive year Clearwater Credit Union has earned the Best of Missoula honor. The streak began when the award category was known as Best Financial Institution and continued as it transitioned to the Best Credit Union category.

This year’s recognition holds special significance as Clearwater celebrates 70 years of serving its members and communities across Montana. Since its founding in 1956, the credit union has remained focused on providing values-based financial services that strengthen its members’ financial lives, local businesses, and the communities it serves.
