Show Up & Volunteer

Show up at the address and time of your chosen volunteer opportunity.

Before you leave the nonprofit, you must complete Step 3 to register your act of service.

What are the official drawing rules?

Official Drawing Rules

The 700 Acts of Service Challenge drawing is hosted by Clearwater Credit Union and is open to legal residents of Montana 18 years or older. Credit Union membership is not required to participate, enter, or win. No purchase or act of service required to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. Clearwater employees, board, and supervisory committee members and their immediate families may participate in acts of service but are not eligible to win. The entry period is May 1-31, 2026. There are two ways to enter:

  1. Complete an Act of Service at a participating nonprofit organization between May 1-31, 2026. Participating nonprofit organizations are listed at clearwatercreditunion.org/700Acts. Upon completion, you must scan a unique QR code provided by the nonprofit organization to register your act of service online. Each act of service you register equals one drawing entry.
  2. Mail a 4” x 6” postcard with your name and phone number to: 700 Acts of Service Challenge, 3600 Brooks St, Missoula, MT 59801. Each postcard counts as one drawing entry.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries received. All acts of service submissions and mail-in postcards must be received by 11:59pm on May 31, 2026. Drawing winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries on June 5, 2026, with winners notified by June 10, 2026.

There are eight prizes available: Seven, $700.00 cash winners plus a matching $700.00 to each winner’s Montana nonprofit organization of choice, and one grand prize of a Montana weekend getaway valued at $3,500. Winner will have a choice of three available weekend getaway packages.

 We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the promotion if technical or administrative issues occur. By submitting an entry, participants waive liability for any injuries or accidents sustained while performing an act of service. The drawing is governed by and subject to the laws of the State of Montana.

When does the Challenge take place?

The 700 Acts of Service Challenge runs May 1-31, 2026.

Do I need to sign up in advance to volunteer?

Some volunteer opportunities may require advance registration, while others allow drop-ins. If advance registration is required, we’ll note it on the volunteer opportunity.

How many acts of service can I complete?

You can complete as many acts of service as you like between May 1-31, 2026. Each completed and registered act of service counts as one drawing entry.

Do I have to volunteer with a participating nonprofit?

Yes. To be eligible for the drawing, your act of service must be completed with one of the participating nonprofit partners listed at clearwatercreditunion.org/700Acts.

How do I register my act of service?

You must submit one registration for each act of service you complete  to qualify for the drawing. Each participating nonprofit has a unique QR code. After completing your act of service at the nonprofit organization, you’ll scan the code to register your act of service. Each act of service registered is one entry into the drawing.

Can children participate in performing acts of service?

Yes! Children are welcome to participate in performing acts of service, in accordance with each nonprofit’s policies. However, participants must be 18 years or older to enter the 700 Acts of Service prize drawing.

Will Clearwater share my contact information with the nonprofit organization after I register my act of service?

Only if you choose to share your info. During registration, you’ll have the option to grant permission for Clearwater to share your contact information with the nonprofit. If you do not opt in, your information will remain private in accordance with Clearwater’s data sharing policy.

When will winners be selected?

We will randomly select eight winners from all valid entries received by 11:59pm on May 31, 2026. We will notify winners by phone no later than June 10th, 2026.
