Check & Payments FAQ's
Your first check order cannot be placed online. Please call us or stop by a Clearwater Branch. Contact us for current pricing.
Address updates on your checks need to be done by a Clearwater or Harland Clarke representative. For security reasons, members are not able to do online by themselves.
Counter Checks are available at our Branches. There are four checks per page and the cost is $2.00.
Bill Pay cannot currently be set up or have new payees added via the mobile app. Bill Pay configuration and adjustments must be done in online banking.
Cashier Checks can be requested in our Clearwater Branches or over the phone for $5 each. Members over 60 years old with active/engaged membership can request Cashier Checks at no charge with no dollar amount limit.
Money Orders are $2 each and can be requested in our Branch Lobbies or Drive-Thrus. Members over 60 years old with active/engaged membership can request Money Orders free of charge with a $1,000 limit.

Clearwater offers free Banzai Courses designed for K-12 students to learn financial literacy concepts and navigate real-life scenarios like budgeting, paying bills, and saving for future goals. Choose from the following course offerings:
Banzai Junior: Ages 8-12: Learn about saving, spending, and reaching goals by opening a lemonade stand! You’ll learn about income, budgeting, and borrowing.
Banzai Team: Ages 13-18: Your character is a recent high school grad navigating saving, working, and unexpected expenses! You’ll explore insurance, taxes, paying rent, and other helpful topics.

- Monitor your accounts using Online Banking and our Mobile App.
- Shred sensitive documents for free at any Clearwater Branch.
- Check your credit report often.
- Filter phone calls and be careful what information you share.
- Report suspicious activity right away.
- Don’t believe every email or text and be careful what links you click.
- Think about using an RFID blocking wallet to protect your cards.
- Use ApplePay/Samsung Pay/GooglePay when purchasing when available.
