2025 Scholarship Winners

Clearwater Scholarship Program Awards Record Number of Scholarships
Through Clearwater’s Scholarship Program, we have awarded over $130,000 in scholarships over the last 40 years. This year proved to be a banner year for the program. We received a record-setting 115 scholarship applications and awarded a total of $25,000 to ten college-bound Montana students. This milestone reflects our continued commitment to igniting human potential by supporting education and investing in the future of the communities we serve.
Clearwater awarded scholarships based on the following criteria:
- Personal essays
- Community involvement activities
- Cumulative GPA
- Letters of recommendation
This year also marked the continuation of the William “Lefty” Campbell Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship honors Lefty’s contributions as a longtime Missoula County teacher and former Clearwater Credit Union board member. This scholarship supports students pursuing an education degree.
In recognition of the diverse paths toward higher education, we also introduced a scholarship for adult learners in 2025. This initiative underlines the credit union’s acknowledgment of the value of lifelong learning.
