Clearwater Foundation

Clearwater is committed to being a force for good. One way we do that is by donating 5% of our annual net income to Montana nonprofit organizations. We focus our support on three main impact areas.

Igniting Human Potential

We work to help people overcome challenges and make the most of opportunities by providing support for things like vocational training, housing assistance, credit building, and transportation.

Building Inclusive Communities

Through this impact area, we support social and economic development actions and interventions that help people and communities meet basic needs, including affordable housing, food security, community childcare, and economic development.

Protecting the Environment

Within this impact area, we focus on activities that promote environmental stewardship, conservation, and sustainability that make for a cleaner, healthier Montana and the world at large.

Clearwater donates 5% of our annual net income annually to nonprofit organizations.

We’ll consider funding for general operating funds, specific projects, event sponsorships, and anything else you need that will help make an impact.

Almost all of our philanthropic donations go to organizations within the communities we serve. In general, we do not fund:

Individuals
Youth sports
Electoral campaigns
Activities that do not align with our mission and values
