What makes Clearwater Credit Union strong? The support of our members. The authentic lived culture of our entire workforce. The dedication of our volunteer Board and Supervisory Committee. And the leadership of our Executive Team.
Our Executive Team puts action to policy, managing the day-to-day operations of our credit union. Their hands-on effort is what transforms our vision into reality.

Bill St. John
All credit unions are founded on the philosophy of “people helping people” but Clearwater takes it a step further with a Board mandate “to be a force for good in banking, in the communities we serve, and in the lives of our members.” There aren’t many organizations in the financial world where the primary focus is on being a force for good instead of profit maximization. I love that everyone at Clearwater is looking out for our members’ best interests, and comes to work passionate to improve our world.— John | CFO
Board of Directors
Our volunteer Board of Directors sets the strategic direction of our credit union, ensuring that our values are the engine that powers all of our actions and decisions.
Connect with the Board
Our member-elected Board of Directors is comprised of Clearwater members just like you. We currently have seven members serving on our board and each has been elected to a 3-year term. Our Board of Directors meets monthly and board elections are held at the Annual Membership Meeting each spring.

Clearwater Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit credit union overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. Each Clearwater Credit Union Board Member serves a three-year term. Annually, the Board Nominating Committee nominates candidates to fill expiring terms or vacant positions. To learn more about the 2023 nominees visit the 2023 Annual Member Meeting page.
Our volunteer Supervisory Committee handles internal audit functions; they also receive and respond to member suggestions and complaints.
