If you are looking for an exciting and high impact job, complete with awesome benefits and a great work environment, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.  Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a Business Banking Compliance Specialist.

The Business Banking Compliance Specialist position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business accounts and members.


  • Communicate with potential business members, provide information and answer questions
  • Onboard new business members, open and close accounts as needed
  • Conduct due diligence that business accounts are in compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • Follow-up on all irregularities that come from business accounts
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and reporting of business accounts on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually basis
  • Complete all required BSA documents, including, but not limited to CTRs and SARs, using AML software program
  • Handle all questions and/or issues in regard to accounts
  • Analyze potential business members and all required documentation and formulate a recommendation to committee for final approval
  • Achieve and maintain BSA certification
  • Conduct complex investigations related to business account activity and BSA violations
  • Knowledge of credit union products and services, including staying up to date with changes and additions
  • Provide internal and external members with excellent service
  • Follows all credit union policies and procedures, including being compliant with state and federal laws and regulation


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking, economics, accounting/auditing or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and understand cashflow and income statements
  • Ability to work autonomously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with all levels of staff, members, and vendors. Position closes February 18, 2020.

This position will join our lending team and help the Credit Union establish a presence and relationships within our newly added membership area, providing loans and being a resource of information for members.

A successful applicant must be goal-oriented, have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment which requires attention to detail, commitment to recognizing needs and creating solutions, knowledge of credit union philosophy, products, services, and procedures. Must have the ability to make informed, rational lending decisions and the dedication and ability to learn and implement all aspects of member service and consumer lending. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years consumer lending experience, excellent customer service skills, and sales experience. Closing date: until filled.

Financial Service Representatives act as the front line service providers to our members and we’re looking for service-oriented individuals to join our team. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: processing cash and non-cash transactions, maintaining member accounts, and educating members on products and services. Applicants must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be a team player. Previous cash handling and customer service experience are preferred.
