Contact Center Representative - Southside Branch

This in-branch Contact Center Representative position, located in Missoula, or Great Falls, MT, provides direct member support with Audio, Video, Chat, and other delivery channels by completing transactions and requests and being a source of information for members.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Skilled at answering Audio and Video calls 
  • Completes outbound phone calls
  • Comfortable and efficient using Chat
  • Provides personalized guidance to address all the member’s needs
  • Comfortable using multi-engagement channels to assist members
  • Responds to all incoming chats
  • Answers all emails from website and ones directed to Contact Center email addresses
  • Responds to all online banking messages

Universal Associate - Southside Branch

We are accepting applications for a Universal Associate position in Missoula, MT. This role is responsible for assisting members with all aspects of their financial needs. The role is all-encompassing and requires the Universal Associate to advise all members on account options, sales solutions, service transactions, consumer loans, self-service channels and high-level budgeting. The Universal Associate builds positive relationships with current and potential members and directly contributes to the success of the Credit Union’s strategic goals, by recognizing and detecting opportunities to build a deeper relationship with the member.

Consumer Loan Officer - Great Falls, MT

Brand Communications Strategist - Southside Branch

Are you passionate about storytelling, strategic thinking, and making a difference in your community? Clearwater Credit Union is accepting applications for a Brand Communications Strategist. As our Brand Communications Strategist, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining and executing our brand voice across all communication channels. You’ll blend creative storytelling with strategic planning to craft messaging that not only reinforces our credit union’s mission, vision, and values, but also drives brand awareness; attracts new members, deposits, and loans; and forges lasting relationships within our community.

Role Functions and Responsibilities:

Brand Messaging and Communications

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across internal and external communications channels, ensuring alignment with the credit union’s brand platform and values-based strategy.
  • Ensure co-workers and appropriate third-party partners are informed of, and prepared to support, all brand, membership, and public relations campaigns.
  • Help translate complex financial topics into clear, approachable, values-based language that resonates with our members and the public.

Strategy and Campaign Development

  • In partnership with internal and external partners, oversee the development of the credit union’s annual brand, advertising, and earned media marketing strategies, helping to ensure they align with our mission and values and differentiate the credit union from the competition.
  • From concept to delivery, take ownership of multi-channel brand and earned media campaign development ensuring that all materials are accurate, compliant with all laws and regulations, and delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement brand, membership, and earned media calendars ensuring planned campaigns align with and help achieve credit union and market-specific goals.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Continuously monitor and report on the credit union’s brand reputation across all channels, and keep management informed of relevant content that could impact or influence the credit union’s reputation.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to measure brand awareness performance and use the results to inform branding strategies. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in overseeing brand communications, content strategy, or marketing. Financial services experience preferred but not required.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent project management and organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone to appropriate audiences or environments.
  • Experience managing cross-channel campaigns and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Digital Content Specialist - Southside Branch

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Content and Review Management

  • Develop and implement monthly editorial content plans that attract new audiences and offer existing audiences the tools, insights, and information they need to build stronger financial futures.
  • Develop content calendars and manage digital content publishing across all digital marketing channels, including the credit union’s website, social media profiles, digital banking platforms, in-branch marketing screens, email marketing programs, and online review platforms. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop high-quality, engaging content for use across all marketing channels.

Email Marketing Management

  • Participate in the development of a comprehensive email marketing strategy that reinforces our brand story; offers tools, insights and information to help our audiences build stronger financial futures; and engages existing members in understanding and using the full range of their membership benefits.
  • Utilize first and third-party data to segment email audiences and deliver personalized email content that fosters emotionally engaged members and increases product adoption.
  • Implement and optimize email automation workflows to nurture leads and onboard new members/ products. 

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the credit union’s digital content using tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, social media insights, and email marketing metrics.
  • Use data-driven insights and support from third-party vendors to refine and improve content strategies and web performance.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in marketing, communications, or related field OR equivalent work experience. 
  • Minimum three years’ on-the-job experience in marketing, communications, event management, or similar. 
  • Advanced computer skills and experience using Windows operating system.
  • Intermediate knowledge of using a social media management platform such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Intermediate experience using a workflow management system such as Asana, Monday.com, Basecamp, or similar.
  • Intermediate experience using an email marketing platform such as ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of, or willingness to learn, HTML, Adobe InDesign, or Adobe Illustrator.

Business Loan Officer - Butte, MT

The Business Loan Officer position is responsible for assisting business members with their commercial lending needs, being a resource of information for business members, and building stronger relationships in the business community. 

Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Helps drive a business development effort focused on portfolio growth
  • Interview business members, determining what their needs are, and obtaining all applicable financial and other relevant documentation to make an informed credit decision
  • Provide excellent service by managing expectations through good communication and timely loan closings
  • Possess a strong understanding of financial analysis, cash flow analysis, and collateral evaluation
  • Structure and negotiate terms, analyze, and close loans
  • Manages a loan portfolio of business members that includes monitoring credit quality by analyzing updated financial information and ensuring that loan files are updated with all necessary documentation
  • Perform collections and workouts of troubled loans, as necessary
  • Stay informed of regulatory requirements and changes and other internal policies
  • Participate with local boards and volunteer for various community events

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of business lending experience, including time spent as a credit analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration is preferred, or equivalent work experience

Consumer Loan Manager - Southside Branch

Clearwater Credit Union is seeking a dedicated Consumer Loan Manager to join our Consumer Lending team in Missoula, MT.  In this role, you will oversee and direct the lending activities of our Consumer Loan Officers, while guaranteeing exceptional service for our members.  Sound decision making skills and leadership capabilities are needed to guide in a proactive approach to lending and forward thinking.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of Consumer Loan Officers, providing day-to-day guidance and support.
  • Meet with employees to deliver regular performance feedback and coaching sessions to help employees grow and succeed.
  • Compile and submit departmental reporting as needed.
  • Coordinate workflow and departmental schedules to maintain appropriate branch coverage.
  • Participate in your own personal production and growth opportunities.  
  • Work directly with the VP of Consumer Lending to drive both individual and overall production goals.
  • Help to maintain and support sound lending practices, keeping the needs of our members and our organization in mind.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for both credit union employees and members regarding the consumer lending process.
  • Travel to branches in various Clearwater markets as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. 
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated ability to implement effective people, time, project, and organizational management practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively and efficiently with all levels of staff, members, and vendors.

We’ll review your application and any accompanying information to assess your initial fit for the role. Based on each candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience, we compile a short list of applicants to begin interviews.

Because we respect you and your time, we will notify you if we do not select you for an interview.

Step 3: Interview

Typically, the hiring manager and a member of our People Solutions team will conduct your interview. Depending on your location, your interview may be in person or virtual.

During the interview, we’ll dive into your background, gain a better understanding of your skills, and assess your cultural fit. This step also includes more technical or job-specific questions so the hiring manager can assess your fit for the role.

This is also your time to ask your questions about the job so you can determine if the position, our company, and our culture are right for you.

In some cases, the hiring manager may want to complete a follow-up interview to help ensure they select the best candidate for their team.

Interview Questions That Get You Noticed

Step 4: Assessment or Task

Depending on the position, we may request you complete additional online assessments or a specific task associated with the position. These tools help the hiring manager to select the final candidate.

Step 5: Decision

Once the hiring manager reaches a decision, our People Solutions team will make you a job offer, which will include your proposed salary and an overview of our benefits package so you can make an informed decision.

If you accept, we ask most positions to begin employment within two to three weeks.
