Offering FREE Tax Preparation Services February 7 – April 8, 2022!
We’re offering FREE VITA Tax Preparation Services to members of the community again this year.
Drop-Off Remote Tax Preparation
By appointment Feb. 7 – Apr 8, available at the following branches:
- Brooks Street Branch, Missoula
- Reserve Street Branch, Missoula
- Stevensville Branch
- Butte Branch
Members of the community can bring their tax documents to one of the branches above. A Clearwater co-worker will then scan in the documents and then return the originals. A VITA Tax Preparation volunteer will then contact you to schedule a walkthrough of your taxes via phone call or virtual meeting and get them ready to eFile.
In-Person Walk-In Tax Preparation
We will also be offering a walk-in only tax preparation option this year at the Clearwater Training Center at 3600 Brooks St, from 9:00am – 4:30pm on the following dates:
- March 1 & 2
- March 15 & 16
Walk-in only tax preparation will also be offered at our Butte brach, from 9:00am – 4:30pm on the following dates:
- March 8 & 9
Please note that walk-in tax preparation and dates are subject to change or cancellation based on COVID cases and staffing availability.
Qualifications
- Income threshold <$58k household income,
- SSI Income, or
- Relatively simple tax return.
