Volunteering
A big part of who we are is being a force for good and using banking to make the world a better place for everyone. To support our vision statement of building thriving, sustainable communities we give each co-worker 24 hours of paid volunteer time per year.
In 2022, our employees volunteered over 1,340 hours in their communities.
Philanthropy
We focus on giving to organizations operating in the communities we serve that work to empower people, build inclusive economies, and protect the planet.
We are committed to donating 5% of Net Income each year. In 2022 we donated $1.6 Million to 290 organizations.
Sustainability
How we do business has repercussions for our members, economy, and planet. We care about our community. That is why we are committed to making environmentally conscientious choices.
We think about supply chains and source things as locally as possible to support local economies and cut down on transit to reduce our carbon footprint.
In 2020 we introduced single-stream recycling, glass recycling, and composting and reusable cups, plates, & silverware in our branch breakrooms.
Free Financial Education
We help build thriving, sustainable communities by providing free financial education.
Our branch manager team has presented free financial literacy classes to over 1,175 individuals in 7 communities!
We also offer free online interactive education through our online Education Center and Banzai Wellness Hub to all learners; 2,018 individuals so far this year!
