Unfortunately, energy efficiency scams are becoming increasingly common. Fraudsters pose as energy providers or utility representatives offering free energy audits, home improvement services, or solar panels to gain access to your home.
With our Energy Efficiency Advisory service, we’ll connect you with licensed, reputable contractors who specialize in energy-efficiency home upgrades so you can feel comfortable that you’re dealing with reputable professionals.
Navigating the maze of federal, state, and local energy efficiency incentives can be very confusing. We’ll help you identify available tax credits, rebates, and grants and guide you through the application process to help maximize your energy efficiency savings.
If you decide to move forward with some or all of the recommended improvements, we’ll help you explore affordable financing options, through our Clean Energy Banking program.

Yes. You must be an existing Clearwater member in good standing who received a personal invitation to participate in the initial pilot.
No. We’re offering this new service at no cost to you. The only cost is if you choose to move forward with making home improvements.
No, there is no obligation to make the recommended home improvements. If you choose to move forward with any or all of the improvements, we’ll help you explore your funding options. However, there is no obligation to proceed with the improvements nor obtain funding from Clearwater Credit Union.
